C 2186 • 165mm (6.5″) 5W 100V Twin Cone Fastfix Ceiling Speaker

The C2186 is a 165mm (6.5″) dual cone speaker with a 5W transformer. These stylish, high performance, architecturally unobtrusive speaker/grill combinations can be painted to match decor. Super easy to install with a ‘Flip-Lock’ mounting system. Typical applications include medical centres, shopping malls, restaurants, boutiques, hotel foyers, apartments, offices etc.

This model features a magnetic snap fit steel grill which extends right to the edge of the speaker assembly. The result is a near flush finish with the ceiling tile, providing an architecturally unobtrusive installation.

About the Fast-Fix Flip Lock System.

Redback® “Fast-Fix” speaker utilise a time saving flip lock mounting method. It results in a finish with no visible screw heads or caps. The flip lock tabs slide outwards as the speaker is screwed into the hole, securing the speaker to the ceiling material from the top side. Suitable for use with any 8-33mm ceiling tile, including gyprock, mineral fibre or fixed gyprock ceilings. We recommend using our T 2314 holesaw to cut the speaker hole.
