A 2347 • Attenuator Volume Control 5 Zone Evac 40W / 100V Line

May be configured to either five single inputs to five outputs or one input to five outputs. Each zone has a 40W load capacity with a total panel capacity of 200W. All models have ten positions plus OFF. The input and outputs are connected via heavy duty screw terminals on the rear panel. Housed in a 2U rack panel and supplied with an engraving strip to label the speaker zones. Suits 100V systems only. All controllers include a 22µF bipolar capacitor for line monitoring purposes.

About the override feature.

It is often necessary to override the volume control in an evacuation control system during an emergency situation. A relay is used to bypass the attenuation circuitry enabling an announcement at full volume regardless of the volume setting, including off.
