A 4931 • Microphone/Line Pre Amplifier Wallplate
This mic/line pre-amplifier wallplate accepts either a microphone or line input and converts the signal to a balanced high level output. The 3V output signal is carried via Cat5e cable, (suitable for distribution up to 300m without interference) back to a Redback compatible UTP receiver unit.

The 3V output signal is carried via Cat5e cable, (suitable for distribution up to 300m without interference) back to a Redback compatible UTP receiver unit. Mic input is via a balanced XLR whilst the line input is via 2 x RCA sockets or 3.5mm audio jack for portable devices with a lower level line output. Power is supplied to the wallplate over the UTP cabling.
Use with Redback A4480B and A4432
The wall plate provides a means of overriding the input to a zone with a local input source located in that zone. An example may be a mobile phone for background music or a microphone for speeches at a wedding function.

A 4495 • Input Source Selection Remote Plate
The A4495 wall plate allows remote selection of the A4480B zone input audio source and volume level (1 plate required per zone). In addition, when connected to the A4931 local zone input wall plate, it allows the use of a local signal source, such as a wired mic, radio mic or aux source such as a mobile device, which VOX mutes the selected input from the A4480B. The LCD displays the zone name, the input sources and zone and local input volume levels.
